Large concrete placements in the summertime mean very early starts for the project team in order to beat the heat and provide the best quality product.  This particular placement at the future site of Catherine Lakes Elementary School in Onslow County began at midnight with setting up the pump truck. The first of many concrete trucks arrived around 1:30 to begin the 10+ hour activity. Brickworks, Inc. has been an excellent partner for Daniels & Daniels and their crews worked tirelessly and efficiently through the morning to completion. The are several more placements to go, but the team has kept up with the schedule even given the heavy rains since the start of the project.
